The artist, Zane Maxwell draws gay erotic art paintings, sexy
men and male nude in watercolors on the paper called Shikishi, Japanese
card stocks designed for calligraphy and sumi ink paintings. The snow
white and rough paper texture compliments his distinctive brush touch
and artistic simplicity. His artwork is simple and yet provocative to
stimulate wit and humor. Look for the evidence. He also writes contextual
Japanese characters in his drawings. His extensive knowledge about those
characters enhances his quality art. His blog for its respective illustration is
intriguing to read as well. In these multiple respects, his art
is unique to say the least. *The site contains gay sexually oriented artworks.

Transfixion(Japanese character means 666)
The phantom beast descends to cleanse our soul and flesh, and human race
commences self-inflicted psyche for another millennium. What a travesty!
Only when the beast violates handsome good-looking men, it will be redemptive.
Under the Rainbow (Japanese character means Rainbow)
Wizard of Oz is such a special movie for many Americans. As a kid, I couldn't
wait to watch the movie on TV with my family during holiday seasons and
Xmas time every year. When I was in 2nd grade, my family prepared food
and sat at the table and we were all ready to enjoy the film, however,
like 10 minutes before the movie started, the lights went off. It was
a blackout all over in town and it lasted for 3 hours. It was a devastation
on a small little kid. The main reason why I was so disappointed was
that I loved the tin man so much. I was always looking forward to seeing
him every year in the movie. I still can't figure out why I was so smitten
by him to this day. Today, I drew my tin man to fulfill my unconscious
expectations from my innocent days. Even Dorothy would be happy to see
her tin man bare chested and so hunky.
The
Summer of 97 (The Japanese character means Sea)
We played, laughed, and loved. We were kids together.
Hand in hand, we surfed through on the silver splashes
and the golden sunset.
One late summer night, I embraced you without saying a word.
I smelled suntan oil on your sunkissed skin.
I looked into your eyes and felt you far away into the sea of September.
Little did I know you left your heart in the summer of 97.
